Experience is something that can be gained from many aspects of one’s life. I grew up in a small town in Cape Breton, where I learned the power of community and service. I have since drawn heavily on that, particularly over the 15 years I spent as an advanced care paramedic, firefighter, and auxiliary RCMP constable.
In 2013 I moved to Halifax and looked for new career opportunities. I accepted a position as a property manager and soon discovered that I had a passion for managing and leasing large multi-unit, single-family and commercial properties. The move to real estate seemed like a logical next step. Being in the business since 2015, I don’t consider myself a veteran yet but the knowledge and experience I have gained from working with developers and investors, not to mention the home sellers and buyers, has given me an excellent grounding in the business.

My passion is music! It's been a part of my life in some way or another since back in high school. After going our separate ways to pursue other careers my high school buds have come back home. We've come full circle and have teamed back up to form Port Malcolm a high-energy country band!! Boy, are we having fun!
A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME
Without a doubt, one of my biggest attributes is to connect personally and develop a trusting relationship with my clients. Purchasing real estate is such a huge undertaking in anyone’s life and so trust and openness between the client and agent are paramount. The first piece of advice I always give to new agents is to find a mentor early in one’s career. My wife introduced me to Sandra when I was just starting out in the business. I joined The Pike Group not long after getting my license in 2015 I am a proud member of the group. I attribute much of my success to Sandra and what I have learned from her. There are so many adjectives to describe her and it is difficult to highlight just one. She is someone who is always fully committed to whatever she is doing and this quality stands out for me. As part of such a forward-thinking team, we are always pursuing excellence, consistently looking for new and innovative ways to serve our clients better.
