A recent data analysis from realtor.com identified some of the most sought-after home features buyers are searching for in 2022. Which features make the top of buyers’ wish lists you ask?

Some of 2022’s most popular home features include:

• Water features. With spring and summer on the way, people are getting excited to spend more time outdoors—and many of those people want to enjoy the outdoors with their very own water feature. Swimming pools topped the list of most searched terms on realtor.com in the early months of 2022—while hot tubs came in at #10.
• Waterfront views. Not only do people want water features, but they also want water views, as evidenced by some of the year’s most popular search terms, including river view (#2), waterfront (#3), beach (#6), and lake view (#14).
• Plenty of space. The COVID pandemic saw people spending more time at home than ever before. All that time at home created serious demand for more spacious homes—a trend that’s set to continue in 2022, with popular search terms like cathedral ceiling (#5), big lot (7), outbuilding (8), and library (12).
